Bill Gurasich, one of the founders of GSD&M’s Idea City agency and owner of the Mansion at Judge’s Hill boutique hotel, is planning another hotel on South Congress on a vacant lot next door to the Baptist church. The hotel will incorporate below ground parking to alleviate some of the parking congestion in the neighborhood, as well as an outdoor plaza that will hold the ‘Hey Cupcake’ airstream trailer which currently resides in the gravel lot where the hotel is to be built. It will hold 90 rooms with ground floor retail space, meeting space and a pool in a four story structure. Read the article here.
